|Dear inventor, entrepreneur, policymaker and other role-players in the National System of Innovation
You are invited and urged to give us your opinion on how to strengthen linkages between government, private sector, the research sector as well as civil society in terms of our collective capability to impact economic and social well-being through innovation. Innovation is defined as the creation and the application of goods, processes, models and services for a better life.
The overall objective of the opinion survey is to support the Government of South Africa to improve the functioning of a coherent and coordinated National System of Innovation (NSI) that – as per the National Development Plan – will enable South Africa’s development, competitiveness and transformation.
This is not an academic questionnaire and will take you less than 5 minutes to complete 13 key questions. The overall recommendations will be a part of a larger study on how to achieve more cohesion with regards to innovation in our society.
All participants will receive the statistical outcome of the opinion survey.
