Webber Wentzel is excited to announce the launch of Webber Wentzel Ignite, a legal incubation programme for start-ups and scale-ups.

As a firm, they have a long history of supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. Webber Wentzel recognises that the future of South Africa requires an ecosystem of innovation and growth and want to make a meaningful contribution towards this.

Through Webber Wentzel Ignite, selected entrepreneurs and innovators will be provided with:

• tailored legal services valued at up to ZAR 100,000;
• bespoke mentoring and training support – focused on legal knowledge and developing key skills relevant to start-up businesses; and
• targeted networking and profile-raising opportunities.

Webber Wentzel Ignite aims to provide start-ups and scale-ups with a strong legal foundation to drive businesses forward and position them well for future fundraising and expansion.

A consultative panel of industry experts will select the successful applicants that will receive support. Preference will be given to high-potential South African ventures that already have some market traction.

To join the programme, interested applicants must apply by 15 January 2018. Completed forms must be sent to ignite@webberwentzel.com.
