Do you have a great idea for a tech business, but need help getting it off the ground? The Telkom FutureMakers InnoTech programme is an intensive ‘from concept to market’ process run at the Woodstock Bandwidth Barn, Telkom’s Cape Town FutureHub.

We’re keen on all ideas, but get particularly excited when it involves:

  • A B2B solution of any type
  • Ecommerce
  • Gaming and media
  • FinTech
  • HealthTech
  • EdTech
  • GovTech

We are looking for:

  • Tech or tech-enabled (i.e. has digital as core to its business model) products and services
  • Businesses that are more than 51% black-owned
  • Business owners who are based in Cape Town

THE PROGRAMME

InnoTech begins in June 2017. The first eight weeks are your ‘Pitch Deck Journey’, addressing your business fundamentals and getting you pitching-strong. Those businesses that progress through phase 1 will go through an MVP bootcamp before entering phase 2, a 12-week process which sees you getting in front of customers and refining your business proposition, culminating in a presentation to potential funders.

Along the way you will meet successful entrepreneurs on Founder Fridays, make site visits to Cape Town start-ups and network at the hottest IT events in the City.

Yes, it’s a commitment – you’re looking at least 10 hours a week of seminars and mentorship here at the Woodstock Barn – but it’s also the chance you’ve been looking for to make your big idea a reality.

Apply via https://fs23.formsite.com/TheBarn/form37/index.html to potentially be apart of this amazing programme.  All applications will close on 19 May 2017 at 12 noon.

All previous participants of the Telkom FutureMakers programme will unfortunately not be considered for participation of the program.
