Elan Lohmann’s mission: To inspire 100,000 South Africans achieve a sustainable healthy lifestyle.

He founded SleekGeek, a health focused movement in 2012, in order to achieve this goal. Before becoming an entrepreneur, he enjoyed 13 rewarding years in corporate Digital Media, heading up many SA brands such as News24.com, TimesLIVE, SowetanLIVE.

He was appointed Group Head of Digital at Avusa which includes brands such as CareerJunction, I-Net Bridge, MAPIT and Exclusive Books.

By the age of 34 he was appointed to the head of a 5,000 person company, and by the time he turned 37, he had a new mission altogether.

After losing 17kg (37lbs), giving up smoking and finding a healthier lifestyle for the first time, he decided to give up the boardroom to help people full-time to discover theirs.

SleekGeek is sponsored by Reebok and he is a Wellness Warehouse Ambassador. Follow Elan @ElanLohmann or@SleekGeekSA.
