Focusing on technology that positively impacts health and social upliftment, Enterprise Elevator is helping local entrepreneurs and start-ups with a programme geared towards making a difference and fast-tracking growth.

Cape Town, August 2015 – Designed to help grow impactful tech businesses, with healthcare being one of the key focuses, Enterprise Elevator will be introducing its Tech Accelerator initiative at the SA Innovation Summit’s Healthcare Innovation Dialogue in Cape Town on Friday 28 August 2015 to show how its programme can be used to empower entrepreneurs to make a difference within the health tech sector as well as other broader tech sectors that foster positive social change.

Based in South Africa, and comprising three partner organisations – Entrepreneur Traction, Impact Amplifier and Visions2Ventures – Enterprise Elevator is a unique solution designed to grow tech businesses that help to provide positive social impact. From apps that allow users to find clinics and doctors in nearby areas, to mobile health services, online tools and directories and numerous other innovative ideas that promote health and empowerment, the Health Tech Accelerator programme will be launching at the much-anticipated SA Innovation Summit that is currently taking place.

The theme of this year’s Healthcare Innovation Dialogue is Health Innovation – creating an enabling and inclusive environment for entrepreneurs to flourish. With its vast potential to empower small businesses, entrepreneurs and self-starters to make a difference in communities, Enterprise Elevator will be discussing the ability of technology in today’s market, with an introduction to its accelerator programme presented by Eric Edelstein.

Dean Cannell, Entrepreneur Traction CEO, says, “Simply put, it’s all about the entrepreneur. Enterprise Elevator is about enabling entrepreneurs to impact society through technology; and technology is a key role-player in fostering innovation and driving economic growth not only locally, but globally as well.”
