Cape Town, 21th December 2016. Woodstock and Cape Town CBD already have great coworking spaces, but now CoworKite has established a small technology hub in Blouberg.  The coworking office offers beautifully designed workspace on 2 floors, fibre optic internet, free parking and all amenities that a modern startup needs, including access to investors and mentors. Name and interior design provide kitesurfing lifestyle driven working environment, together with a unique location, a short walk from the most famous kitesurfing beach in the world. Community members can choose between flexible membership packages, starting from R850.  CoworKite is the most international tech coworking space in Cape Town, having a mix of locals and digital entrepreneurs from all over the world.

“We created a cool place to work in unique location close to the beach, with all amenities that modern startup needs, including access to investors and mentors. There are a lot of creative and talented entrepreneurs in this area of Cape Town who want to work among a like minded community without spending 2-3 hours in traffic every day. The coworking office opened its doors in November 2016 and we invite all tech companies, especially those in post revenue stage looking for funding. In the spirit of the holiday season and celebrating the new year CoworKite is giving away 1 free membership. ” – said Adrian Stander, CEO and co-founder of CoworKite.

800 Ventures will invest in tech startups in seed stage up to R1.5 million and together with investors in our network we will participate in future funding rounds. We wanted to create a small community driven coworking office where members can get to know each other, and where we can work closely with founders and help them in growing their business. Many investors in the 800 Ventures network are serial entrepreneurs with proven track records of building companies. We’ve done it ourselves and we want to help others to grow their businesses too.” – said Matija Rukavina, CEO  of 800 Ventures.
