In celebration of our one year milestone, online entrepreneurial platform, Being Boss will host some of the country’s top innovative female entrepreneurs in Cape Town and Johannesburg in August.

After authoring my book ‘Being Boss- how to avoid the knockout and survive your first 1000 days in business’- now in its third print run (whoohoo!) forming an online community of likeminded, millennial entrepreneurs in Africa was very important to me. The community which consists of over 13 000, are encouraged to attend business incubators, mentoring sessions and workshops on a regular basis.

I think a women’s gathering over the month of August is the perfect way to celebrate the milestone whilst staying true to the brand’s values of education and inspiration.

We have curated some of the county’s top entrepreneurial talent for these two events. This year’s theme is Purpose, Productivity , Profitability and besides the networking element to the day, the sharing of content in these theme pillars promises to be beneficial for everyone attending.

The idea behind the WomXn Talk events is to encourage networking and sharing amongst like-minded entrepreneurs while listening to 9 fast-paced and entertaining talks, covering the theme of Purpose Productivity Profitability.

Speakers include:

Portia Masimula-Karisani IT; Beauty Balingile- Miss Cape Town and Audacious Women; Xoliswa Daku- Daku Group; Nicci Stewart- The Why Effect; Andy Golding – Thrive, to name a few.

Topics include:

Doing business with purpose, building a personal brand, the power of collaboration and a guide to landing investment.

Tickets are R300 standard and R750 VIP which includes one on one mentoring and a pre-event dinner with the speaker.
