This initiative will add to the move to position Cape Town as an IC (Intellectual City).
The Industrial Design community who contribute to Applied Intellect and already play a part in this “front-end thinking”, will be no doubt like to be involved.
We should be careful that the inclusion of the word “silicon” doesn’t possition us to IT innovation only.
