AfricArena, in partnership with Wesgro and Silicon Cape, held a press conference at the Investor Centre today to announce for the second consecutive year, AfricArena 2018: The International Africa Tech Conference, as well as their first-ever World Tour scheduled for May 2018.

If you couldn’t join this exciting announcement in person, the conference in Cape Town included a panel discussion on how to successfully do business in Africa.

Panellists included: Christophe Viarnaud of AfricArena, Alexander Fraser of VC4A, Kerry Petrie of Silicon Cape, Xabiso Lombol, founder of Guardian Gabriel and Victoria Jackson of MEST.

The World Tour will see the AfricArena team visit 6 of the fastest growing African tech cities including: Mauritius, Reunion Island, Nairobi, Casablanca, Lagos and Dakar, with winners appearing at the main conference in Cape Town on 15 and 16 November 2018.

The winners of AfricArena 2017 will also be taken on an investor road show to New York and VivaTech in Paris along with the AfricArena team.
