ABOUT THE POSITION

Social Code requires the skills of a Mid-Level PHP Developer who will have the following duties:

1. Building of PHP / MySQL based applications both front and back-end.  
2. Maintenance of core PHP-based applications on the commercial platforms.
3. Support of applications and environment on new and legacy applications.
4. Report to the CTO. 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 2 Years PHP Development experience
2. HTML, CSS, JavaScript experience
3. Open Source CMS experience (WordPress / Joomla / Drupal)
4. MVC experience a significant advantage.
5. SQL databases. MySQL required.
6. Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of Object Oriented development methodologies and UML. 
7. Experience with the following technologies will be to your advantage: SOAP, XML / RPC, WAP, MMS, SMS.
8. Experience with other web languages (ColdFusion / ASP / Perl) will be to your advantage.
