Realmdigital Partners with Tech4Africa

Tech4Africa annually features a world class line-up of international and African technologists, entrepreneurs and strategists. The aim is to not only enable Africans to gain exposure to global thinking, but also form a catalyst for local innovation and entrepreneurship by bringing the best minds and key players within the local tech and start-up landscape together. Realmdigital recognised the need for tech conferences of this nature and partnered with Tech4Africa as an official media partner. We are excited to engage with the most respected people in technology who are coming together to share, teach and interact with Africans in Africa.

The themes for this year are Mobile, Social and Cloud. The schedule has changed somewhat to focus on fewer talks with deeper content, and expanded to include a Trade Show, Ignite, and Innovation Award. Some of this year’s speakers include Herman Chinery, Josh Spear, Patrick Kayton, Jonathan Gosier and Robert Nyman.

The Trade Show runs through the duration of the conference, and is an ideal opportunity for African technology businesses to showcase their products and/or services in an environment of buyers, decision makers, journalists, tweeters, bloggers and potential recruits. The Ignite startup competition is aimed at giving exposure to the hottest new startups, while introducing them to prospective investors, customers and the media. To top things off, presented to a single winner, the Innovation Award encourages innovation for solving uniquely African problems, whilst also encouraging global thinking. The Award recognises that innovation can be entrepreneurial, as well as intrapreneurial, and so is open to anyone or any company.
