Nominate your committee for The Silicon Cape Foundation

Just a reminder to please submit your nominations to nominations@siliconcape.com for the 10 steering committee positions. As we've said before, this is a community movement, for the community, and by the community. To that end, we, the interim steering committee, must now hand this initiative over.

After the launch event next week on October the 8th, a community vote will take place to decide the steering committee based on the people you nominate, and the interim steering committee will hand over to them.

This committee will have the responsibility of establishing The Silicon Cape Foundation, electing a chairperson, creating portfolio sub-committees, co-opting members, raising awareness, promoting the Silicon Cape brand, fundraising, engaging with local government, and generally carrying the vision of this initiative forward.

We are so enthused by the phenomenal response that we have had to this initiative from the entrepreneurial, investor, media, NGO and local government communities. Please have your say in the nominations and voting process.
