yes, i does code ;) so if you're only looking to style a fanpage with an extra app, some basic html skills (and a good grfx designer- which i'm not) you can get you quite a long way- depending of course, on the -what- you want to do: for example, with minimal effort (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Friday-Night-Track/117681481585826?v=...) you can create "something". again, it really does depend on the "what". f8 has a stack of options open
Thanks Bryan - are you a developer? Tried to "add you to my friends" but not sure if it worked ... Anyway, really appreciate you coming back to me. Cheers, Alice

Hi Alice,
"Apps" can take on a few forms depending on the requirements. For the most part the fb app integration is a relatively straightforward undertaking compared to what might want your app to do. The complexity and the app (i.e. a "regular" website powered by php, rails, python, .net) is embedded inside the fb environment with a few fb-specific integration points depending on what you needed it to do.
Hence you could also try pinging your (good) regular design/developer resources (the ones with a learning attitude) since picking up the fb integration along the way is not "rocket science"
