Established businessman, Nick Essame, and young entrepreneur, Martin Ras, are launching an exciting new initiative on 1 February 2012. The idea revolves around the notion of a collective co-operation of people who network and pool their resources together to support efforts initiated by other people or organizations- also known as crowd funding .
Crowd-funding.co.za will be slightly different, even better than the original manner of crowd funding. Instead of pooling money together for a number of causes, known and unknown to the participants, crowd-funding.co.za will aim to raise funds for one technology based start-up alone. This start-up is known as Ching. Ching is a third party payment facilitator that enables merchants to accept Pin based credit and debit card payments via a web or a .mobi site. The Ching solution makes the opportunity of accepting debit or credit card payments available to any merchant, whether big or small; new or established, and will benefit any business.
Crowd-funding.co.za aims to raise R1 million for Ching, in two months, starting on 1 February 2012 until 31 March 2012.
We encourage anyone who believes in great ideas and who believes that great ideas should be made realities, to become a part of this great venture. Pledges can range from R1000 – R100 000. Visit www.crowd-funding.co.za for more information and to view the complete executive summary of Ching.
