'Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs'. This is an adage most startup entrepreneurs hold dear to their hearts. But the cost of, 'building your own dreams' in the technology sector is quite high and the rand's 2015 value depreciation did not do us any favours. In order to, 'build your dreams' you have to have the financial means to employ/outsource a competent developer, designer and marketer.

So often UX (user experience) teams are asked to VET systems or applications AFTER BRS's & FRS's (Business Requirement Specification, Functional Requirement Specification) have been completed.
The UX guys must just check the new system (or application) to make sure it's user friendly.
