- Currently learning what it takes to run his own company, which has been in operation for about 18 months now.
Highest qualification: MSc Computing De Montfort University (UK, England) 1998.
Has a special interest in Mathematics & Neural Networks (a branch of Artificial Intelligence).
Has about five years experience in the education sector, starting in 1996: Teaching within the National Diploma IT at CPUT.
Joined the ICT sector during 2000 when he decided to join Global Vision. Has now accumulated about ten years experience in this sector ranging from software development to development management. Has from time to time performed the role of Analyst, Architect, and a tad of Project Management.
Has solid hands-on experience in a wide range of development technologies including the Microsoft .NET Framework (1.0 - 3.5), ASP.NET, C#.NET, Silverlight 2.0, MS SQL Server 2000/2005, Transact-SQL, MS Reporting Services, LISP and many more. Has a fair amount of experience in the OpenSource environment as well and has been engaged in a number of system integration projects including AS400, VIP, Oracle, etc.
Volleyball has been his passion for more than 20 years now and enjoys playing the odd round of golf.
