Its seems that the planning is going ahead strong. Note the quote "A future healthcare environment could therefore exist with medical schemes as “top up” for services not readily available on NHI."
The question is WHAT will be available in the NHI and what not.

The Minister of Health yesterday announce that the National Health Insurance (NHI) is a definite go, and that the pilot projects will be launched soon.
I thought it would be a good idea to put together some important points regarding the NHI and what I think the effect will be on Health Care Innovation and Technology also what direct effect it will have on your own medical care.
I've speciffically steered away from the ideological arguments for and against.…
