Good Day Justin
I am currently in the process of developing a business model which has been run past a couple of large-company executives and a small business expert. All of which agree to the feasibility of the web-based model. In essence, it envelopes the concept of providing online platforms for interaction between companies and web users. Sound generic and boring? Well, it's not... It will allow for market research in much the same manner as facebook and google, the provision of market data pertaining to interactive customers of companies and the trade of intellectual property ( in a very different way to current providers).
Revenue channels exceed most current web-based businesses in addition to providing for free interaction between members. Last but as important, the core function can remain while still allowing for countless subsidiary revenue and information channels to develop around it. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
Hi...there does not seem to be a link to comment on the tedx event post and hence there can be no first three comments to get tickets to the event...if you fix this please include this comment:
'love the ted talks and it is great that they are going to have an African Avenue of expression. I would suggest for instance Robert Mattes from the UCT politics department (I have no personal affiliation) who has done really interesting work, including “The Material and Political Bases of Lived Poverty in Africa: Insights From the Afrobarometer.

I offered a helping hand at the first Silicon Cape meeting.
I'm keen to have a positive impact on the Silicon Cape if at all possible. PM if you need anything.
I need to get your opinion on an application we developed locally, and the road ahead.
