- I am passionate about promoting the growth, development and transformation of the ICT sector in the Western Cape. In early 2010 I will be hosting a series of industry round tables aimed at bringing all ICT industry bodies, government, academia, industry and other stakeholders together to draft a strategy for the ICT industry in the Western Cape, and get commitment to work closely together to avoid duplication and ensure that all projects are well conceptualised and funded.

Third Software Engineering Colloquium
Knee deep in preparations for the Third Software Engineering Colloquium in March. This is a very important event (convened by CITI and the IEEE Computer Society Chaper).
