Profile Information

What is your current activity, project or occupation?
I am currently involved in a project called africado, which is being developed by Grant Edwards, who was a part of lastminute.com from the beginning. It is an e-commerce site, built to specifically to provide travel-lifestyle products to those travelling in Africa.

It is unique in that it provides true real-time availability of all the products listed, a geo-location based cross-selling platform as well as an innovative experience-based search facility.

The site is built on the open-source Ofbiz framework, and the developers have worked hard to integrate the site with all inventory providers, whether they use the most popular management software or the most obscure, allowing the site to aggregate what must be one of the largest offerings for African travel-specific products.

I simply provide general, all-purpose awesomeness to the team...and on occassion the comic-relief.
