Cape Town Entrepreneurship Week (CTEW) is a city-wide festival of entrepreneurship events, conferences, competitions, workshops, programmes and media – all designed to inspire, promote, showcase and advance entrepreneurship in the City.
A group for Cape Town independent film producers with new financing and business models to network and share ideas. If you are interested in creating production models that generate high returns and offer minimum risk, join the discussion.
Amongst other things, I’m an experienced consultant, coach, facilitator, mediator, lecturer, and academic writer, with a decidedly idiosyncratic, iconoclastic and innovative outlook on life.
My work is based on extensive study and a decade and a half of experience:
-a law degree, a Masters degree in Social Science based in African Studies, and a PhD lodged in psychology;
-practice as an attorney, engagement in business, the media and the NGO sector, university lecturing, and consulting and coaching;
-twenty adult years of looking beyond the facades of social norms.
Thus armed, I offer expertise on strategic personal and organisational relations, mediation and transformation.
Where can you be found on the web, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc?
What is your current activity, project or occupation?
Combining law and existential psychology with experiential, practical and intuitive knowledge, I demarcate, develop and hold ‘spaces’ in which people and organisations negotiate, renegotiate and re-construct professional, organisational and personal relationships in responsible, emotionally mature ways.
This translates into consulting and coaching on achieving full personal and organisational potential, avoiding and healing schisms, managing conflict and overcoming challenges.
My work focuses on emotional intelligence as the connecting point between people & organisations, individuals & society, and minds & bodies. My clients develop practical, innovative and sustainable solutions to personal and organisational issues, through harmonising hopes, expectations, aspirations and real-world limitations. They thereby develop more functional paradigms from which to create deeper meaning and obtain more value from life, and from which to achieve success on their own terms.
