- Who are you?
- I am a very curious person, partly responsible for the founding and ongoing development of MYOWS (myows.com). I was heavily involved in the development of the product and the brand. My role morphs from week to week as the project is still in an awkward adolescent period of self-definition. One constant: whatever I'm up to revolves around one of three fairly disparate portfolios: finance, product development and branding.
Right now I’m looking to do three things:
1. Ignite a fire around this project and find ways to get global creatives of all sizes and types to take their rights seriously, protect and manage their intellectual property and join this community… safety in numbers.
2. Augment Myows’ services in ways that really add value to the lives and careers of creatives. Find new ways to protect creators of original work without resorting to courts and lawyers. Come up with ideas that work and fit and then make ‘em happen (the hard part).
3. Find and negotiate innovative ways for this project to pay for itself and maybe one day pay us all a salary too!
That’s my contribution to the project.
