User may;
*register for service via sms
*set location on map
*set privacy radius around location to share with others
*post data regarding interests using want, have or discuss as keyword with a topic keyword of user's choose.
*text messages are automatically exchanged between user based on keyword and user, location and privacy radius
*private posts are only exchanged between users by SMS text
*public posts are exchanged between users by SMS text and POSTED to the Next2.us web site
*user may direct text each other using their next2.us name without revealing their mobile phone number
*users may changed location and privacy radius using text messaging
*user get a web page at http://m.next2.us/user_name.(example http://m.next2.us/brip)
Next2.us solution runs on Amazon's cloud computers.
I have released the service in the USA via free dedicated short code. I am working on releasing the service via premium dedicated short code in Kenya (and Ghana).. The sms service will be available in English and Swahili in Kenya and can be translated into local languages for other countries.
I am working on an API to integrate Next2.us data and features into other applications.
I would like to connect to other entreprenuers who may want to use Next2.us API.
Further, I am wondering of a solution such as Next2us may benefit the Silicon Cape community.
Additionally, I'd like to connect to anyone that has connections to Naspers. I believe the Next2.us solution could enhance some of their web based classified offerings.
