In a TechCrunch interview not too long ago Dave McClure of 500 Startups fame said that every startup needed 3 roles to have a decent chance of success:
- Hacker: someone who can thrash out code.
- Hustler: someone who can bridge the gap between customers and techies by interpreting the common sense needs.. and can also sell the product/service/whatever.…

The Startup Syndrome: Instagram way back in 2011
What an amazing opportunity to dip back in the Timeline and look at Instagram founders, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, talk about their initial success. This was when they only had 4 million users... a far cry from 35 million+ less than 12 months down the road.
