Great idea, Tim; thanks for starting this.

I run August Sun Projects, a small copywriting agency focusing primarily on web content.

If you're building anything on the web, you're going to need copy. And not just any copy, but engaging, effective copy that actually sells your product, helps people to use your software, or gives a clear overview of your company. Fortunately, that's exactly the sort of copy we provide.

I'm also currently exploring the emerging field of content strategy. A good solid content strategy should really be the starting point for every new website and site redesign. Too many websites are built using lorem ipsum, with the poor copywriter being called in right at the end and asked to squeeze all their messaging into predetermined blocks. Not a good plan, really.

In summary, here's what we offer: content strategy, copywriting (web and print, although we do prefer web), press releases, translation from Afrikaans to English, and editing. I'd love to hear from you if you need any of these services, or if you've got any questions.

Hi guys & thanks Tim.

One day when I'm big, I'd like to be the preferred supplier of cloud computing solutions, with local mirror hosting so that we can use the 'net as quickly and reliably as we are supposed to. We are already offering some of these 3rd party solutions such as hosted exchange and online backups.

For now, IT Force "Rapid Respone Tech Support" is based in Gardens but do office/house calls in most of Cape Town.
We provide technical sales and support to small businesses - pc's, laptops, printers, servers etc. with most of the major brands covered; We also assist with web design using the latest industry standard tools.

My background is a mix of technical (IT, electronics) & managerial (project,operations, general, HR). This helps to understand your needs from all sides and to keep your costs down.

Requests that we've handled include consulting, sales, installations, repairs, virus removals, backups
as well as tracking down outdated ac adaptors and other spare parts including odd shaped cables, that the run-of-the-mill shops don't stock.
