random thought

Between 1999-2004, I was fortunate enough to be selected to write a few books. It gave me a lot of experience and I enjoyed it. Yes, you have to be that way inclined, it can be a lot of work, but its a great experience even if its outside your normal comfort zone.

just like reading, writing is also a way of learning..

After looking around Cape Town, I see lots of programming talent, but not a lot of scope to write. (unless you count blogging, or adding the odd thing to some online mag)

I enjoy seeing and reading made in SA, does anyone else?

As a matter of interest, I am wondering how many programmers would want to write?

or would you enjoy reading and seeing more South African programmers being published?
